New York City - November 2023
In late 2022 we purchased a research company in Upstate New York, so we've been spending a lot of time there. So Thanksgiving week we took a few days in New York City. We did a lot of walking, rode bikes around Central Park, and had some great meals.
Stay in Italy (Doing our own thing in Tuscany) - 2023
In 2023, we did our own Tuscan tour. Of course, no stay in Italy tour is complete without some time with George. Lynda, and Whitney at La Chiusa, so we started there for 5 days. We did our own thing, revisiting our favorites, and found some new places on our own.
Bordeaux Region of France - 2021 NEED PAGE
In November 2021, we had the chance to join the Cook in France tour when two spots opened up at the last minute. George. Lynda, and Whitney were on top of their game again. We had a great time.
Tuscan Region of Italy - 2021
In October 2021, we went back to Italy to the Cook in Tuscany cooking school. We added on Parma, Pisa, and Florence at the end of this trip.
Tuscan Region of Italy - September 2019 (Short Version)
In September 2019, we visited George. Lynda, and Whitney in Tuscany, at their newly acquired hotel La Chuisa hotel, and the Cook in Tuscany cooking school. This was Brenda's third trip to Italy, and third cooking school opportunity. We started on our own 4 day adventure at a chalet a short distance from La Chuisa, and ended with 3 perfect days in Venice.
New York City - October 2018
In October 2018 we attended several events put on by the Food Network as part of the 2018 New York City Wine and Food Festival. The festival events were awesome and allowed a lot of time to explore this great city on our own.
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico - Stay in Mexico - February 2018
We loved it so much that we went back to San Miguel de Allende. This time we were on our own and stayed at an Air B&B for a month. We were able to work as needed but were able to enjoy the city, revisit many of our favorites from last year, and explore new areas and attractions. I enjoyed going to the coffee shop each morning at Cumpanio. We ran into the Cook in Mexico group several times and joined them for one of the fiestas they have at the end of each week.
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico - Cook in Mexico - February 2017
In February 2017 we made our way to central Mexico's San Miguel de Allende, a World Heritage Site known for its architecture, arts scene and ex-pat population. The trip's impetus was Cook in Mexico cooking school with George and Lynda. This was Brenda's second cooking school with them.
Costa Rica - October 2016
In October 2016 we made a quick trip to San Jose Costa Rica to visit our friends Ed and Debbie, talk business, and have some really good coffee.
